LOS ANGELES, CA
I grew up in Northern California running around causing all sorts of trouble. Nearing the end of what I believed the be my time up there (the final year of High School) I realized the only colleges I could get into wouldn't have made me happy. So I took a leap and double enrolled in two of the local community colleges to hammer out some credits in order to apply for a university of my choosing. I didn't realize what I would end up doing after falling out of love with acting in musical theater until I was sitting in that small and dim movie theater at De Anza College.
Two years later I got into the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Best choice I ever made. I did a helluva lot there; directing, writing, cinematography, visual effects, editing, more acting, and fun ol' paperwork. I did it over and over and over again until I became proficient in all the necessary skills to be a director. Because, let's be honest, a director should understand what kind of work goes into all these jobs on set so we don't yell "why is that taking so long?"
Since graduating I've gone on to win a Student Emmy for my commercial work as well as an Addy. Created a viral hit with the EDM Pop trio Cheat Codes. Worked with music labels, ad agencies, and national networks. And certainly I've had ups and downs in all that business. Such is this life and I'd have it no other way.
